The 4th Annual Garden State Garlic Gathering was held on October 1st & 2nd at Olde Lafayette Village at the corners of Routes 15 & 94 in Lafayette, NJ . Aspiring gardeners, garlic-lovers and garlic growers congregated for two stinkin' days of fun at the event. October is the month to plant garlic here in the northeast and the vendors at the gathering have locally grown garlic seed available. We had over 150 varieties of garlic on display, a great tasting table, lectures and a mini-farmers' market at the 2005 event.

Everyone was invited to Vote for their Favorite Garlic at the tasting table. This year's winner was Spanish Roja.
